Определяне на езика на текст
Ако програмирате уеб-приложения, които получават и обработват текстове на различни езици, може би сте търсили начин как автоматично да определите езика на който те са написани.
 
Един от лесните начини за решаването на тази задача е да използвате онлайн услуги като Google Translate или Language Detection API, но те имат следните недостатъци:
 
1. Изискват регистрация, ключ за ауторизация и в някои случаи са платени;

2. Действат сравнително бавно (заради мрежовата латентност) и ако се използват чрез http са уязвими на подслушване;

Понеже естествените езици се променят сравнително бавно във времето, по-доброто решение е да имате ваш код, който да не зависи от външни услуги и да определя на какъв език е текста който му подавате.
 
По време на създаването на bgERP на нас ни се наложи да напишем подобен код, който (както и останалия код на bgERP) е достъпен за всички желаещи под лиценз GPLv3.
 
Ето нашето решение, което работи под PHP 5.3+. То изисква сравнително по-дълъг текст (поне две изречения) за да го разпознае, защото в себе си носи съвсем малка база.
